Compliance delays (USDT only)
Tether's USDT executes blocklistings through an on-chain multisig, exposing a measurable proposal → execution delay. Circle's USDC blocklistings are single transactions by the blacklister role, so no equivalent delay exists on-chain.
USDT moved outof targeted addresses in the window between a freeze's multisig proposal and its execution - value that escaped before the blocklisting landed. Only chains with a multisig delay (Ethereum, TRON) can accrue this; single-transaction freezes have no gap. See The Great Escapes for the individual events ranked by amount.
Total USDT moved out of targeted addresses during the proposal → execution window, grouped by period. Bars show non-cumulative amounts per day (short ranges) or per month (longer views), split by chain.
Trend shows the median Δt per chain with a p25–p75 band; switch to Points for every freeze (click one to open its event). TRON freezes execute in minutes while Ethereum multisig rounds take hours to days, so the y-axis defaults to log (toggle to linear above); on the log scale, same-block freezes (Δt = 0) sit at the 1-second floor.
USDC

Circle's FiatToken has no destroy mechanism; seized USDC stays frozen, so there are no destroy events to chart.
